Hollyday Mart, Thanksgiving Sales, & New Collections!
Today we set up a vendor booth at our local Hollyday Mart. We had many people 'ooh and ahh' over our headbands and sold quite a few. We also had several people (and friends!) give some generous donations to Hailey's Hope with Project Sweet Peas. All in all our first try at a craft fair was a success!

September Headbands
Hi everyone!
I have 15 new styles of headbands available (some styles I have multiple quantities of) as of today. To view them as well as other headbands that are still for sale you can click here or visit "Blossoms for Sale" at the top of the page.
Labor Day marks the end of summer as some would say so if you're looking for some baby headbands that would be perfect for the fall season, I would suggest these:

Special Order!
Blossoms of Blessings recently completed a custom order requested by the primary director of the non-profit organization Breath of Hope, Inc. Here is the organization's mission from their website:
OUR MISSION:
Breath of Hope exists to raise awareness of congenital diaphragmatic hernia by working with parents, family members, and medical professionals to educate and support all who are affected by or want to learn more about CDH.
Breath of Hope also provides a program similar to Project Sweet Peas in that they provide expectant/ new parent packages to families with babies who have CDH.
The color of this organization is turquoise; therefore, the director requested a Basket of Blossoms done in this color. I happily took on this custom project and with a little work I was able to find all of the materials I needed to make this (5 headbands with turquoise headbands, flowers, and buttons):

Updates
As of today you will notice some minor changes to our website. Previously each time I added new items it would become a new post, and as items were purchased I would write "currently sold" next to the item. This started becoming disorganized and not user-friendly. Therefore, the site is essentially divided into 3 main posts and will remain that way even when new items are added or sold:
1. "Blossoms for Sale" which lists ALL items in stock and available for purchase
2. "Past Products - Sold!" which lists all items that have been sold (this is more for me to keep a digital portfolio of sorts)
3. "Pricing and Purchase Information" which outlines important information for ordering.
The more significant change to update you on has been to the items' prices. Thankfully in only a few short weeks I have sold a significant amount of headbands for just starting out. However, as this project develops and I gain more experience, I am seeing more clearly how this all plays out in terms of costs of materials, time spent on making them, what the average amount is going to Hailey's Hope with each sale, etc. I am realizing that for this to benefit Hailey's Hope I need to raise the prices. (I will mention that previously the price of a headband was around 4-5 dollars; it was costing around 2-3 dollars to make so about only $2 was going to Hailey's Hope for each headband sold which is not a lot.) So you will notice that I have not drastically increased the prices. Even with the increase and current price these headbands are cheaper than most headbands like them online - and you really can't find these in stores. These prices are still a steal and everyone should feel great about purchasing a headband because you are paying for the materials in your headband and everything else is being donated to a good cause. Prices:*
Each headband is $8.00 plus shipping.
You can also select a "Basket of Blossoms" (any 5 headbands in stock with a decorative basket) for $36.00 plus shipping.
All items are fairly and competitively priced. Please remember this is for a good cause! ALL proceeds go to helping provide a gift bag for a family who has a baby in a NICU.
For each $8.00 headband purchased, approximately $5 is being donated to Hailey's Hope with Project Sweet peas.
Payment & Shipping / Delivery:
Currently I am only accepting payment via checks. Once I receive your email order I will give you the details on who to make the check payable to and where to mail your payment. Once I receive your payment I will ship your order within 1-2 days. Orders typically take less than 5 business days to ship.
